A Press Operator sets-up and operates the press, ensuring high quality printing at maximum productivity. A Press Operator follows scheduling requirements to ensure on time-delivery, while also performing machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

*Full time positions are available for 2nd shift (3pm – 11pm) & 3rd shift (11pm – 7am)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensure work produced meets or exceeds quality guidelines
  • Meet all production specifications
  • Read and understand job ticket instructions
  • Accurately fill out all paperwork and enter status entries as required.
  • Record all time and materials correctly
  • Have all jobs approved by supervisor or another qualified operator prior to running.

A Sheeter Operator sets-up and operates the paper sheeter; ensuring quality paper is produced at maximum productivity. A Sheeter Operator follows scheduling requirements to ensure there is not time lost on the machines product is delivered to, in addition to quality checking sheets of paper and placing them on the machine. This position also performs additional machine operating, machine maintenance, blade changes, and troubleshooting.

*Full-time positions are available for a rotating night shift (7pm – 7am), always on nights, working a schedule similar to 3 days on then 3 days off.*

  • Ensure all plates, stock, ink, and proofs for the next job are at the press before the previous job is complete
  • Accurately record all production data in Real Time system on job tickets, load slips, etc.
  • Provide backup and support to other presses
  • Perform other tasks as requested

As a Machine Helper, you will inspect books, signatures, covers and bindery components for quality. You will also pack boxes and complete the necessary paperwork to record labor, materials and product counts, as well as feeding pockets into the binder. You will need to skid pack according to the customer s specifications, along with running the shrink wrap machine and other machines as assigned.

*Full-time positions are available for a rotating Day Shift (7am – 7pm), always on days, working a schedule similar to 3 days on then 3 days off.*

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to fill a full time Customer Service/Marketing Associate position. The Customer Service/Marketing Associate responsibilities include, but are not limited to, communications between sales representatives, customer service, data entry and working with publishers nationwide. The individual will also assist with various internal and external marketing efforts, which include employee communications, employee appreciation events, and customer marketing initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Services the customer by solving problems, gathering and transmitting information as needed and demanding the highest quality product.
  • Takes job specs from Sales Reps or Customer, logs in request for estimate and communicates estimate to Sales Rep or Customer.
  • Receives job from Sales Rep or Customer, compares with estimate and discusses any differences with customer and Sales Rep.
  • Initiates job jacket and job ticket.
  • Plans the job: checks stock of ink and paper and orders as needed; creates press layout and binding impositions; orders from vendors and outside services; finalizes scheduling with VP of Operations and Scheduler.
  • Tracks job through production and communicates any problems and changes to Plant Personnel, Sales Reps, and Customers
  • Other projects/duties as assigned

We are looking to add a Senior Accountant to our Accounting team. The Senior Accountant will support the Accounts Payable department, ensure accuracy of commissions and sales reporting, perform bank and month-end reconciliations, assist other Accounting departments within CJK Group, and assist with implementing new policies and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Have a full understanding of the Accounts Payable department and act as the primary backup for all Accounts Payable processes.
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions between sites
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Process bi-weekly expense reports
  • Reconciles various general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
  • Review procedures to provide recommendations for process improvement
  • Assist other Accounting departments

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Preferred 3+ years in Accounting
